Echoing the vibrancy of their native Brazil, Fiszman’s designs stand out for their lush, saturated tones. Spotlighting stones such as deep green jadeite, fuchsia rubelite, and the green-pink hues of watermelon tourmaline – alongside diamonds, emeralds, and sapphires - these designs truly glow. As designer Richard Fiszman points out, “colour is the element of visual language that has the greatest affinity with emotion.”
Richard creates each piece at his studio in Sāo Paulo, often drawing on the natural world for inspiration. Among his standout designs are the Leaf Earrings, drop earrings fashioned in green and watermelon tourmaline, rubelite, and diamonds, which replicate the delicate curve of a tropical leaf. Art and the city are inspirations, too. The intricate form of a pair of diamond earrings takes its cues from arabesque patterns, while a bracelet’s delicately twisting design is inspired by the lines of the New York subway map.
