French jewellery designer Marie Cabirou, AKA Auverture designer Marie Mas, joined us at the Reflections to Infinity event to showcase her intriguing and beautiful pieces. Since we’re getting into the Christmas swing of things here, we asked Marie to answer a Christmas Q&A before she headed back to Paris.

Curious to know what’s on this inspiring designer’s wishlist? Find out more on the Journal.

What did you enjoy most about the Reflections to Infinity event?

The Auverture team was really welcoming and everything was amazingly well organised, and the set up was really beautiful ! It was also very nice to meet the customers and present them the collections. It is really interesting for me to have their feedbacks.

What’s your recommendation for the perfect gift for a jewellery lover?
I would say something surprising, definitely ! Either because the piece has a secret, or because it’s a one of a kind piece :)

What’s your favourite thing about Christmas?
I love that everything gets pretty magical at this time of the year, the atmosphere is fantastic, its like Paris gets all dressed up, it’s wonderful.
What’s on your Christmas wish list this year?
There is a jacket/shirt from a new brand called Token. They did a collaboration with the artist Bernard Bousquet for the print, it’s really nice.
Do you have any Christmas traditions at home?
Yes we spend Christmas day with all the family together, it’s the only time of the year that we can have everyone together, it’s really special. I am looking forward to it.

Our ambition with Auverture United : make a long term impact in the fine jewellery industry

Auverture began in 2016 as an online destination for creative fine jewellery that celebrates individuality. At the time, we launched by gathering a community of 10 like-minded designers who shared that same vision and objective.   Four years later, as our beloved community of designers, customers, and followers has grown, our mission remains the same.
