One’s taste in jewellery may be deeply personal, but it often takes the well-trained eye of a friend or acquaintance to pick out an unexpected piece that you come to love more than any other. Auverture, the new online jewellery platform curated by jeweller and sculptor Bibi van der Velden, is essentially that friend. There’s nothing stuffy about the website or the jewellery designers featured; with a highlight reel of up-and-coming international talent on offer, from Noor Fares and Fernando Jorge to Eugenie Niarchos and Monique Péan, the website is unique in that it seeks to unpack the stories behind each piece. It’s no secret that jewellers have long embedded a million different references and messages within their pieces, but understanding them requires a knowledge of their language. Auverture has that, and superlative taste to boot.

Our ambition with Auverture United : make a long term impact in the fine jewellery industry

Auverture began in 2016 as an online destination for creative fine jewellery that celebrates individuality. At the time, we launched by gathering a community of 10 like-minded designers who shared that same vision and objective.   Four years later, as our beloved community of designers, customers, and followers has grown, our mission remains the same.
