With so many pieces to pick from, and so many designers to discover, it can be tough to find luxury fine jewellery that is right for you. There’s an array of different types of jewellery out there, and a large variety of metals, and precious and semi-precious stones being used. Combine that with an infinite combination of skin, hair, and eye colours and it’s hard to know where to even start.

FAIR SKIN WITH RED UNDERTONES
Blakeney says that those with fair skin with red undertones should steer clear of rose gold, as it will simply highlight the redness of your skin. On the other hand, silver can look ‘fresh’ on light skin especially if you have blonde or light hair. We suggest:
FAIR SKIN WITH PALE UNDERTONES
If you’re fair with pale undertones, Blakeney says that 14k yellow gold is better than 18k. White gold and silver are both beautiful options and will always draw the eye when worn against very pale skin. We like:
LIGHT TO MEDIUM SKIN

Lightly tanned OR olive skin

Silver tends to lost and forgotten on dark skin, Blakeney says. It can depend on the piece of course, but anything delicate and fine can struggle to attract attention. Gold is the ideal choice for black, brown and dark skin tones. Ones to try:
